Barcelona is killing the very thing they love and they can't conquer it

La Masia is not to be touched

Fc Barcelona was recently given a transfer ban by FIFA(which has been temporarily suspended) over its policy of signing youth playes for its fabled youth academy, La Masia . The bigger question for los cules will be that why should they spend so much money when they have world-class players in their own backyard.
They Spent upward of a 100M on Brazilian sensation Neymar, who has scored 21 goals in 48 matches(spending 3483 minutes on the pitch, an average of 166 minute per goal) whereas Local boy Gerrard Deulofeu has shown his influence in Everton , scoring 6 goals(in just 1453 minutes).
Why make such a high-risk bet on Neymar at a time when the club is already in huge debts(Gross debt is 450M+).

And this is not the first time that the club has made such a transfer,Buying Cesc Fabregas back from arsenal for 42M resulted in Thiago Alcantara getting almost no playing time which resulted in him handing in a transfer request and moving to the german giants bayern where he has flourished. And as a result of mismanagement of La Masia players , Clubs like Arsenal(Hector Balerron,Miguel) swoop in and take the best players.
